Join me and my family for a mini winter break in the Italian Alps. I'll help you find your lodging and arrange your transfer into the village, then the week is yours to enjoy.
Ski the slopes, wander the village, linger over lunch, explore the mountains, or simply settle into the rhythm of winter. I'll be there to share my local knowledge and help you make the most of your time — and we'll come together for aperitivo, dinners, and a few special moments along the way.

There isn't a bus waiting at 8 a.m. There isn't an itinerary telling you where you need to be every hour. And there isn't a group activity scheduled for every moment of your holiday.
Instead, you'll have the freedom to create your own Italian winter experience, with the reassurance of having a local insider there to help you navigate the details. Ski, roam the village, hit the spa, do a little shopping...
You choose how you spend your days.
We come together when it matters (at the dinner table :)

I'll recommend lodging options in the village based on your needs and budget.
Getting there
I'll help coordinate your transfer from the airport/train station up to the village.
Local guidance
Need a ski rental? Restaurant recommendation? Where to buy groceries? What should you do on a non-ski day? I'm your person.
Time together
We'll gather throughout the stay for aperitivo, dinners, and a few shared experiences.

I’ve lived in the Italian Alps, built friendships there, worked there, and spent years learning how this village operates. When you come for New Year’s, you’ll have the freedom of an independent vacation — with the comfort of knowing someone who knows the town is there to help. (And we will also be meeting up daily as long as you want to).
I’ll show you where to grocery shop, point you toward the best places for a coffee or aperitivo, help arrange ski rentals and hire (you will get a discount because I know everyone! :), introduce you to Italian friends, and share the little traditions that make New Year’s in Italy so special.
You might learn a few Italian superstitions, practice your Italian over a glass of wine, join us for dinner with friends, or discover a favorite local spot you would never have found on your own.
And when something comes up? You have someone who knows the people, speaks the language, and knows how things work.

- Spa Day / Yoga Day
- Take the snow cat up the mountain for dinner at the top (then ride it down or ski under the moon!!!)
- Snowmobile ride out to a mountain rifuggio for dinner.
- Skiing (I will let my husband be the guide. He was a ski instructor here for 10 years. He can show you all over the mountain).
- Day trip to Monginevre (where 2030 Winter Olympics will be).
- Evening at a local discotech! Dance the night away Italian style.
- Lunch up on the mountain and catch the sun.
- Aperitivo fun.

Your trip is a BIG investment. If you cannot afford to lose the money you have invested to travel, for whatever reason, we strongly recommend you consider travel insurance. We encourage you to do your due diligence by researching and finding the best plan for YOU.

- Spots are limited, and while I don't arrange accommodation for you, I'll provide recommendations for where to stay in the village. I encourage you to reserve your accommodation early, as availability around New Year's is limited.
- Cancellations made 45 days or more before trip start date: Refundable
- Cancellations made within 44 days of trip start date: Non-refundable.
- If the trip is canceled by The Italian Insider due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., government travel restrictions, safety concerns), you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future trip.
- No refunds will be given for missed activities, late arrivals, or early departures.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or trip interruptions.
