My small group journeys are designed around the Italy I know best—the places I've lived, the places I return to, the food I can't stop talking about, and the people and experiences that have made Italy part of my life for more than 25 years.
These aren't big bus tours with packed schedules and a checklist of sights.
They're intimate journeys for curious travelers who want to eat well, explore deeply, connect with a place, and still have room to make the experience their own.

That's the feeling I want to create through The Italian Insider Journeys. Each one is thoughtfully designed to bring you closer to the character of a place — its food, traditions, landscapes, and people — while giving you the confidence and freedom to enjoy it in your own way.
You'll come home with more than photographs and a list of places you've seen. You'll have stories to tell, new connections, and a deeper sense of Italy that stays with you long after you've returned home.

WHAT SETS US APART
- Small by design.: I keep my groups intentionally small so the experience feels personal rather than packaged. You get to know the people you're traveling with. We can move through a place more naturally. And I can actually spend time with you—not just lead you from one stop to the next.
- Places I know personally: These aren't destinations I've simply researched.They're places I've lived, studied, worked, traveled, eaten, celebrated, and returned to over the years. That lived connection shapes where we go—and what we do when we're there.
- More than the highlights: Of course, we'll see beautiful places. But we'll also look for what's underneath them: the food, traditions, landscapes, stories, people, and everyday moments that make a place feel alive.
- Time to make it yours: You won't be scheduled from breakfast until bedtime.Some experiences we'll share together. Other moments are yours. Take a long lunch. Explore on your own. Rest at the hotel. Go shopping. Sit in a piazza and do absolutely nothing. You don't have to experience Italy on someone else's schedule.

An invitation to slow down, settle into a mountain village, and experience New Year's the Italian way.
Join me and my family for a winter escape in the Italian Alps. I'll help you find your lodging and arrange your transfer into the village, then the week is yours to enjoy.
Ski the slopes, wander the village, linger over lunch, explore the mountains, or simply slow down and hit the spa! I'll be there to share my local knowledge and help you make the most of your time — and we'll come together for aperitivo, dinners, and a few special moments along the way.

From Turin, where I lived and worked, through the vineyards of Piedmont, the colorful villages of Cinque Terre, and the shores of Lake Como, this is a journey through places that have been part of my own Italian story.
